In January 2013 I chose Julz Evans as the agent to sell a lifestyle property near Sefton for me. I have offered to write a reference because her services were exceptional. I could write the usual generic stuff by saying Julz was highly efficient and managed to get a very good price, all of which is true. But I want to be specific since my circumstances must have made me a problematic client! For a start, I live in Western Australia. Although I came to New Zealand to clear the property I then had to return home and leave Julz in charge of practicalities for several weeks. Monitoring the property involved her finding the barn and garage full of cluster flies on two occasions. She could have suggested calling a fumigator but instead she volunteered to put fumigation bombs there so as to keep my expenses down. As I had emptied the place there was no cleaning equipment available, so she brought her own in order to give the house a final dust and vacuum in readiness for the new owners. When I first arrived in New Zealand the gardens were terribly overgrown. Julz found me a very hard-working man to week and mow. She had the great idea of planting up the empty vegetable beds so that potential buyers could see how easily they could grow fresh produce. Another problem I presented was the fact I had inherited a deceased estate, which was being contested. During my absence Julz steadfastly stood up to relatives of the deceased who tried to trespass on to the property. Something which could have made the sale difficult was that the deceased had suicided. Duty of the disclosure meant Julz had to reveal this to potential buyers and, if asked, she even had to go into the details. I can barely imagine how hard it must be to do this. But she handled it with immense sensitivity. I chose her because she was the agent who sold this same property to my dearest friend (the deceased) who at the time told me how good she was to deal with. As Julz had known him she was able to reassure potential buyers by telling them all the positive things about his life. Julz is not only an agent with the acumen necessary to get vendors a good price. She is also a hands-on person capable of doing whatever it takes if she sees that something needs fixing. Most importantly, she is one of the most compassionate people I have met. She was so kind during what was an emotional time for me, and in my absence she went above and beyond to ensure the vacant property was well-maintained and kept secure.

To Whom it may concern 4 November 2013 After working with Linda for a short time at Papakura Ray White and Linda selling my personal home and a rental of mine it became clear to me that she is and was the right sales person for the job.
